On March 10, 2012, Mark Schechter, Elsa Ronningstam, Mark Goldblatt and Terry Maltsberger gave a presentation at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute titled, Suicide and Trauma: Contemporary Psychoanalytic Perspectives.  I was fortunate to be able to attend a fascinating presentation and visit BPSI before it moves in May.

Until now I have been selecting photos for this blog by looking at the pictures on the small cell phone screen and publishing them to the blog from the cell phone. I have chosen photos that looked good on the small screen. When I now review these photos on a computer screen, in a larger format, some of them that appeared ordinary before now seem more interesting. This one of the Bamboo Restaurant in Hawi, Kohala district, is one with some interesting details, such as the sign naming the musicians we will see there on Saturday night (I can now add that to their videos).
